Annie is a designer who grew up drawing, fell in love with branding, ventured into data visualization, and now bridges all her skills through crafting visuals that tell a story ... ->
Fun fact: I’m a twin from a family of five, and my twin’s name is Hallie—we were named after The Parent Trap movie!
It’s funny, when I first started the Data Visualization program at Parsons, I had no idea what data was supposed to look like or how to code. Information felt overwhelming, but I was drawn to making complex ideas accessible and visually compelling.
Embracing new tools and technologies became essential to my design process. AI has been a game-changer, helping me learn faster and providing the support I need to bring my ideas to life. The learning curve has been steep, but now I can tackle challenges that once seemed out of reach. (like training my own model?!)
I’m currently working on my thesis project exploring the relationship between fragrance notes and gender expression through time.
In my free time, I drink a lot of coffee and tea, doodle, pick up crafty hobbies like crocheting and baking to get off the screen.
